Roundtable on microplastics at the French Embassy

At the invitation of the French Embassy, the Ecotox Centre - in collaboration with the EPFL and Embassy staff - has co-organised a roundtable discussion on microplastic pollution in the Alpine region. One of the aims of the event was to promote cooperation between Switzerland and France in order to gain new insights and explore solutions. In discussion rounds, scientists from the two countries provided information on the current state of knowledge and the consequences for the environment and human health. Afterwards, they discussed possible fields of action. About 50 guests from administration, politics and the public took part in the discussion.
