Ecotox Centre at EPFL anniversary

On 14 and 15 September, the EPFL invited the public to two open days, the "Portes Ouvertes", to mark the university's 50th anniversary. The event was a big success - almost 40'000 visitors took the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes. At the Ecotox Centre's stand they experienced how springtails and other creepy crawlies measure environmental pollutants. The visitors were also able explore sediment sampling.
